25 Years Of Photoshop Summed Up In a Short Film

Adobe’s market leading tool turned 25 years old this month and you see the results everywhere you look.

Long recognised as the industry standard, Adobe’s Photoshop launched a staggering 25 years ago on the 19th of February. From Hollywood blockbuster movies like How To Train Your Dragon 2 to the everyday memes that fill our facebook timelines, Photoshop enables novices and experts alike to explore their creativity.

As a small part of the celebrations Adobe have produced a short film that showcases some of the applications that Photoshop has been used for. Artists from all over the world have sent their PSD files for inclusion in the project which has then been animated layer by layer exclusively in Photoshop itself. The video is set to Aerosmith’s Dream On with the sentiment firmly encouraging artists to continue visualising their imaginations. Photoshop, we salute you!
