A Whole New Meaning To Going Undercover | Spies in Disguise

Will Smith voices superspy Lance Sterling in the new animated feature, Spies in Disguise

Spies in Disguise is the latest animated feature film from Blue Sky Studios. Whilst the name may not ring any bells, you’ve certainly heard of their films. They’ve created the Ice Age franchise, Rio, The Peanuts Movie and most recently Ferdinand.

Their latest work is based upon a short animated film directed by Lucas Martell and released in 2009. Entitled Pigeon: Impossible, it details a potentially life-threatening situation between a spy and a humble pigeon.

Will Smith voices Lance Sterling, one of the worlds best spies. As the trailer reveals, when the world is under threat once again, Lance visits his gadget creator and teenage tech genius, Walter Beckett (voiced by Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming)). However, Walter’s latest gadget may create more problems than it solves!

Unfortunately, that’s all the information we have at the moment as this first teaser has been released just under a year until the film hits the cinemas.

Spies in Disguise will open in the UK and US on 13th September 2019. Check out your local release date over at IMDb, as the film is being released in stages all over the world starting in January ’19 where it will open in Argentina.
