Adidas X Dragon Ball Z – Battle Three

Here’s the third installment of Adidas’ footwear collaboration with Dragon Ball Z. Vegeta and Majin Buu provide inspiration.

The Adidas X Dragon Ball Z collaboration continues with a third round of shoe releases. This time it’s Vegeta and Majin Buu that feature.

We’ve already seen in battle one and two that Adidas are reworking popular silhouettes with a Dragon Ball Z theme.

This time around they’ve chosen Oregon Ultra Tech ’90s style runner to represent Vegeta. Reflecting the character’s look the shoe comes in a  ‘cloud white, collegiate royal and bold gold’ colourway. As with the rest of the range the shoes bear small design nods to the source material and features a Dragon Ball insole. [Adidas X Dragon Ball Z | Oregon Ultra Tech | £139.95]

To celebrate Majin Buu Adidas have re-imagined a modern classic. This Kamanda silhouette comes in soft suede – the perforated three stripes “represent Majin’s ability to shoot steam out of holes in his body”. The official colourway for these is haze coral, energy ink and shock yellow. [Adidas X Dragon Ball Z | Kamada | £109.95]

Each addition to the Dragon Ball X range comes in a shoebox featuring a unique print that will reveal a larger image when put together with the rest.

Adidas X Dragon Ball Z Vegeta and Majin Buu designs are available to buy on November 24th.
