Ant-Man Needs A New Director… Again!

Adam McCay pulls out of Ant-Man gig.

Word on the net is that Ant-Man is still seeking a new director following the announcement and and then prompt departure of Adam McCay from the project. McCay was touted to be the replacement for Edgar Wright who was originally set to direct Marvel’s first film of phase three. Wright recently quit citing artistic differences as to his reason having been involved with Ant-Man since 2006.

Could Ant-Man be the first blip in Marvel’s current cinematic universe? Possibly, but just to re-ignite that enthusiasm here’s the test footage leaked an age ago to remind us how awesome this film could be.

Biochemist Dr. Hank Pym uses his latest discovery, a group of subatomic particles, to create a size-altering formula. Though his first self-test goes awry, he develops an instrument that helps him communicate with and control insects.
