King Pheenix + Untested Methods | Balrog’s Boombox | Album

King Pheenix and Untested Methods re-imagine Streetfight II.

As part of Scrub Club Records‘ March Of The Scrubs, a month long celebration of the label, it’s artists and music, King Pheenix and Untested Methods have dropped Balrog’s Boombox a new eight track album which pays homage to the classic arcade beat-em-up Street Fighter II.

With Untested Methods reworking the game themes and King Pheenix showing a surprising development in his lyrics and style since his last album BITW, each track focuses on a character from the game telling a story based upon a trait rather than being based on the game’s original stories. It’s an interesting concept sure to capture the imagination of fans of the game.
