Best Attic Conversion Ever?

Most people use their attic space to store old toys, the christmas tree, junk they don’t need. Others, size permitting, convert them into bedrooms or home office space. How many do you know build a spaceship cockpit?

The house in question resides a just south of London by Crystal Park and was spotted on rightmove, a UK-based internet service that allows the public to view properties that are up for sale. The eleven bedroom house is selling for a tidy sum of £3,250,000. When reading the description, one sentence jumps out and grabs your attention,

A sizeable area of loft storage has been transformed into an amazing space ship for the kids.

Scrolling through the pictures of the house reveals the following snapshot.

Red Dwarf Attic Conversion

As you can see, it does rather have a very strong Red Dwarf vibe about it. Red Dwarf is a long running sci-fi comedy show here in the UK that started in 1988 and has had 61 episodes spread over 10 series. For comparison. here is a picture of the latest version of the cockpit from series 10.
