Cars 3 | Is This The End For Lightning McQueen?

The last teaser for Disney, Pixar’s ‘Cars 3’ should have come with a warning not to view alone. It was pretty bleak.

It looks like dark times for Lightning McQueen as we catch up with the loveable red racer and star of the ‘Cars’ series of films.

With a new rookie on the scene in the form of Jenson Storm we join our hero with his career as a racer apparently coming to an end. But are there some tricks left in the veteran racer yet?

‘Cars 3’ certainly looks a great deal slicker that the previous two installments of the hit Pixar animation with a more realistic style. Owen Wilson reprises his role as the voice of Lightning McQueen with Armie Hammer voicing his nemesis, Jenson Storm.

The U.S. will get to see ‘Cars 3’ in cinemas from mid-June this year whilst the U.K. will wait until mid-July. Other regions should check IMDB.

Cars 3 synopsis | Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician with her own plan to win, inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet, and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!
