Comics | This Week’s New & Noteworthy | 25th March

The Comics Preview is all you need to find out which new titles are hitting comic book shops this new comics day.

Whether you’re a regular reader looking for something new or a newcomer to comics, I give you my top three picks and a round-up of each new new comic hitting the shelves this week.

Top Pick | We Can Never Go Home

A well worn mixtape, a stolen convertible, a duffel bag full of cash, a fully loaded .45, and super-powers. Seventeen and on the run is the only way to see America right. Teenage outcast Duncan and popular girl Madison share a secret – they can do things other people can’t. But their abilities take them down a dangerous path. After a deadly accident they are left with no choice: leave home and never come back. We Can Never Go Home is a new chance to fall in love with the doomed misfits who need to run away to find themselves.

Black Mask Comics

The Mice Templar : Nights End

The restored Templar bring their final battle to the very gates of King Icarus’s stronghold—the fortress city of Dealrach Ard-Vale, where the doomed insurrection of its desperate inhabitants await rescue. But as the armies of salvation go to war without the guidance and leadership of Karic, the heroic young mouse who overcame their generations of prejudice and division, under which banner will they fight?

Hit 1957

Crime is down in Los Angeles-at least, on the surface. Mickey Cohen has been quiet since his release from prison and the LAPD has seemingly regained control of the city. But the underground is a different story. Det. Harvey Slater and company have spent the last two years focused on Domino and his Syndicate’s unrelenting infiltration, but no matter how many people the hit squad kills, the real fight for Los Angeles rages on. Meanwhile, Slater’s being hounded by Internal Affairs, Bonnie Brae is missing, and everything is falling apart at the seams.
