The Dirty Sample | Tuesday Nights On Cardero

The Dirty Sample | Tuesday Nights On Cardero

The Dirty Sample drops a new extended player through Hand’Solo Records – fans of cassettes win big with a remix B-Side.

With almost thirty albums in his discography, Calgary producer The Dirty Sample is nothing if not prolific. His back catalogue includes instrumental work, remixes and collaborations.

His latest release is an eight track EP that takes its title from Tuesday night recording sessions at his Cardero Drive home studio in the West End of Vancouver, BC.

Each of the eight tracks that fill out ‘Tuesday Nights on Cardero’ is a posse cut featuring Tuesday night regulars Chaka Boy, Fatt Matt, Hash Mills , Kaboom Atomic, Tachichi, Lesk One and a verse from Planit – the now retired emcee alter-ego of The Dirty Sample.

‘Tuesday Nights on Cardero’ is released on Hand’Solo Records as a free download.

Fans of something more tangible may be interested in a unique cassette release available for $10 plus shipping. The original cut of the EP fills Side-A, whilst Side-B is comprised of a cassette-only exclusive remix of the EP with all-new production from Metawon, Low Pressure founder and resident producer DJ Moves, frequent collaborator Touch (who also adds new vocals!), DJ Usdneedls (of Hidden Fortress), and Backburner’s More Or Les, Timbuktu, Savilion and Fresh Kils.

About The Dirty Sample | The Dirty Sample earned his name off his fascination with dusty vinyl after he turned to production to provide the beats his then 3-year-old rapper alter ego, Planit, wasn’t receiving from other producers. Now, nearly 3o albums in, the Calgary producer has a catalogue that includes instrumental works, remix projects, and collaborations with the likes of Roc Marciano, Guilty Simpson, Myka 9, Kirby Dominant, Moka Only, D-Sisive, Merkules, Snak the Ripper, and many others.
