Since the conclusion of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ fans have been chomping at the bit to get a look at Captain Marvel.
If you hung around for the post-credits scene in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ you will have seen Nick Fury’s last ditch effort to call for help. A pager donning the logo of Captain Marvel. That cliffhanger has had fans desperate for Marvel Studio’s March 2019 release.
Brie Larson plays the titular character in Marvel’s first female led superhero movie. The film is set in the nineties and will act as an origin story for Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel.
Captain Marvel dominates the cover of the latest edition of the magazine with further images released online.
The photos not only show Carol Danvers sporting a ‘S.H.I.E.L.D’ baseball cap and Nine Inch Nails t-shirt but also the air force pilot turned superhero in her customary red, blue and gold costume. Samuel L. Jackson reprises his role as Nick Fury, this time as a lowly desk jockey at the agency and pre eye-patch. Jude Law will play the alien Mar-Vell from whom Danvers inherits her immense powers.
Now we need that first trailer Marvel.
‘Captain Marvel’ will be the twenty first installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and hits cinemas in the U.S. and U.K. from March 8th 2019.
