Expand Your Ghostbusters LEGO Collection With The New Movie Set

We all rejoiced when LEGO released the original Ghostbusters ECTO-1 and subsequent firehouse sets. The new movie set is equally impressive.

Whilst we at The Unheard Nerd are still withholding judgement on the new Ghostbusters movie until we’ve seen it, we can take inspiration in the fact that the tie-in LEGO set featuring the new ECTO-1 looks pretty rad.

LEGO Ghostbusters ECTO-1

Each of the four main characters, Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig), Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon), Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy), and Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones), feature with their trusty ride ECTO-1, whilst Chris Hemsworth‘s character, secretary Kevin, gets his own ride – ECTO-2, a motorbike.

The set features proton packs for the girls to catch a ghost ambiguously named Red Daemon. Most interesting of all though is the fact that the Kevin minifig comes with an alternative face featuring demonic red eyes. Could it be that Kevin will be possessed in the movie? Seems likely.
