First Look At Warcraft

The hugely popular Warcraft video game is adapted for the big screen in this origin tale of Humans first encounters with the Orcs.

Blizzard Entertainment first released ‘Warcraft: Orcs & Humans’ back in 1994. They had no idea how big the franchise would become. The series blossomed with further games, tabletop versions, card games, novels and comics.

The series expanded with ‘World of Warcraft’, a massive online version of the game which became immensely popular the world over.

Director Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) has been tasked with bringing this epic series to the big screen. He said,

“I love games and I feel they’ve been sold short shrift in films so far. It’s my generation’s opportunity to right that wrong.”

You can find out for yourself when the Warcraft opens in Summer of 2016.
