Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse wakes the first and most powerful mutant, and he is not happy with what he finds.

The X-Men movie franchise has endured a few ups and downs along the way but seems to be finding some consistency under the guidance of director Bryan Singer who follows the success of X-Men: Days of Future Past with X-Men: Apocalypse. Under the guidance of Professor X (James McAvoy) a young team of X-Men must battle the all powerful Apocalypse, The titular character was the first mutant who amassed the powers of many others like him that followed, to become a godlike immortal. Asleep for thousands of years Apocalypse wakes to a world he does not approve of. Recruiting a team of powerful mutants, including Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Apocalypse‘s aim is to cleanse Earth of mankind and create the world in his vision.

X-Men: Apocalypse will show in cinemas from May 27th 2016.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
