Get another taste of the Ghostbusters and some previously unseen footage with this international trailer.
Whilst the first trailer for Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot has found infamy for becoming the most disliked video on YouTube much of the problem with it was the confusion caused by imagery of, and references to, the original movies. It was unclear to many if the film was a sequel or a reboot, and honestly, if you need to explain the fundamentals of a movie as accessible as Ghostbusters should be, then something is clearly not right. Add to that the base humour and tired tropes, things did not bode well.
A second trailer improved the position of the movie slightly with a better cut and a clearer definition of where the film was set and what it was about, the introduction of Chris Hemsworth’s character marked a highlight too. But still suspicions run high about how well this film will be received.
Now there’s a little more footage in this new international trailer, are you onboard yet?
