Harry Nichols Band | This Isn’t the Album You’re Looking For . . .

Pop-punk nerd rock as the Harry Nichols Band party on the starship Enterprise.

Sometimes whilst housekeeping my inbox (at times it’s more like major surgery as I cut away huge chunks of the beast that grows each day) I’ll come across something I missed and kick myself for it. This is one such occasion. The Harry Nichols Band released a three track EP back in December 2013 ironically titled This Isn’t the Album You’re Looking For . . .

Indeed I wasn’t looking for it but I’m glad I found it. Opening track Starship is an up-beat pop-punk party track that takes a different view of life on the starship Enterprise. Black Materia Blues tones down the fun a touch with a more mature sounding track whilst Interlude I: Lullabye for the Post Apocalypse is a short low-key finale.
