Here’s The Power Rangers Trailer | Go Go Power Rangers?

Updated for a modern audience the new Power Rangers movie takes cues from the Transformers franchise by taking something people loved and making into something less loveable.

Ok, that’s snarky, and I personally have very little opinion on the Power Rangers new or old. What I do know is that I would have watched a new movie based on the five teenagers transformed into over emotive fighting machines if it was more like this fan film by Adi Shankar from February 2015 starring James Van Der Beek and Katee Sackhoff.

Regardless, I’m not the target audience and anyone that enjoys Transformers will probably enjoy this. On the plus side, Bryan Cranston does look pretty cool as Zordon.

The Power Rangers Movie hits cinemas from March 24th.

Synopsis | Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove — and the world — is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.
