Hype’s pop-up store popped up this week on London’s Carnaby Street. The store will be the location of the streetwear brand’s Pokémon team up this friday.
Carnaby Street was made famous in the 60s for being the go-to place for fashion and accessories. This Friday evening streetwear clothing company, Hype, will be hoping that crowds will turn out for the launch their much anticipated collaboration with Pokémon.
The company yesterday revealed a glimpse at some of the line with a range of bold, bright tees and sweatshirts, a Pokéball rucksack and caps. Alas, the slick video reveal and subsequent pictures don’t give too much away, but fans will easily spot that Clefairy, Charmander, Bulbasaur and, of course, Pikachu are all represented, amongst others.
The launch event takes place at 46 Carnaby Street with the fun kicking off from 4pm and running through to 9. Rumour has it that there may even be the chance to meet some of your favourite Pokémon.
No doubt the range will be available from the store until it closes up for good on Sunday the 25th September and the range should be available online soon after at justhype.co.uk. But if you’re in the area this weekend? it looks like Carnaby Street might be a good place to (Pokémon) GO.
