Travel anywhere in London and you’ll see cool young people with Hype tees and backpacks. They’re literally everywhere.
The urban streetwear brand that has enjoyed rapid and significant growth since the company started as a bedroom t-shirt printing outfit has announced that it will be teaming up with Pokémon for a range of clothing and accessories.
Liam Green and Aidy Lennox started out selling t-shirts from a bedroom back in 2011 whilst the pair were still teenagers. Their cool designs caught the imagination of the U.K’s young adult market and took off rapidly. The fact that the pair are a similar age to their target demographic and social media savvy keeps them in touch with what their audience are into.
The Hype logo is simple yet familiar whilst their clothing ranges from simplistic, well cut streetwear to loud and brash prints.
Hype x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Hype already cater for the pop culture market with a line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Spongebob Squarepants clothing and bags. Now the brand is teasing a Pokémon line of merchandise. There are no details at this time but the Hype website has a holding page where you can subscribe to a mailing list to get details on the team-up first.
