iBoy Is A Netflix Original Urban Sci-Fi Film

Bill Milner and Maisie Williams star in rugged looking urban sci-fi film from Netflix, ‘iBoy’ based on the Kevin Brooks novel of the same name.

Bill Milner (X-Men: First Class / Son of Rambow) stars as Tom, the victim of a violent gang attack. Waking from a coma Tom discovers that his life will never be the same. With fragments of his shattered mobile phone lodged in his brain the teenager develops unusual abilities.

Combining his knowledge with his new found technological powers he sets about exacting revenge on the gang that attacked him and assaulted his best friend Lucy, played by Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones).

‘iBoy’ is based on the novel of the same name written by Kevin Brooks published in 2010. The book, aimed at young adults, has received much critical acclaim.

With a run time of just over an hour and a half ‘iBoy’ looks to be an easily digestible watch which hits Netflix on both sides of the Atlantic on January 27th.
