Jackie Chan Is Back And Chasing Down A Jackass!

Jackie Chan Is Back And Chasing Down A Jackass!

Jackie Chan and Johnny Knoxville star in this action comedy film, Skiptrace.

In my youth, I was a big Jackie Chan film but I don’t keep such a keen eye on his career as much as I used to. His latest films never quite match up to the grand spectacle of what I consider his classic early work.

So it was with great surprise that I saw the trailer for Skiptrace appear on my YouTube listings. In this film, Jackie plays a top Hong Kong detective Bennie Chan, who has been tracking notorious crime boss Victor Wong. The only man who can help is the fast-talking American gambler Connor Watts played by Johnny Knoxville.

Skiptrace has been directed by Renny Harlin who is most famous for Die Hard 2 and Cliffhanger.

The film opens in China on the 21st of July. If you are a resident of the US, you can watch Skiptrace on DirectTV on the 28th of July before its theatrical and digital/VOD release on 2nd of September.
