Japan Gets A ‘Hela’ Cool Poster For Thor: Ragnarok

Japan Gets A ‘Hela’ Cool Poster For Thor: Ragnarok

We loved the poster release for Thor: Ragnarok at San Diego Comic Con. The brightly coloured theme is continued in this poster from Japan.

The marketing team behind Marvel’s next blockbuster superhero movie are getting it so right so far. The teasers and trailers for Thor: Ragnarok have been the perfect blend of action and gags without giving away too much of the film’s plot. Both visually, and in tone, the films seem similar to the balance found in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, including the aesthetically stunning  posters.

Whilst the poster presented at this year’s San Diego Comic Con was a delight for fans of symmetry (aaah, rest easy OCD) the most striking element was the vivid colourisation.

A similar colour palette is embraced in this poster for Thor: Ragnarok from Japan. Antagonist ‘Hela’ (Cate Blanchett) looms menacingly over Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and other main cast members. It’s another beautiful work of art.
