Chris Pratt must return to Jurassic World in a dangerous, heroic mission to save the dinosaurs!
The return to the Jurassic Park franchise was, in my opinion, a risky move. A fourth film in the series had been floating around for a long time in Hollywood as an idea that probably reached as far as pre-production sketches.
The original Jurassic Park wowed us all back in 1993 (those of us old to remember anyway!) with its groundbreaking CGI effects.
The two sequels, whilst entertaining in their own right, couldn’t match the almost unparalleled success of the original.
So understandably, I was quite cautious with news of a fourth film. Luckily, it turned out to be rather good when it was released in 2015 and proved to be another huge box office success for the franchise.
With huge successes come the obligatory sequels and here we are for the first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
As you can see from the trailer, the volcanic island of Isla Nebular lives up to its name and blows it’s top. Former Jurrasic World theme park supervisor Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and velociraptor expert and trainer Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) team up once again in a rescue mission to save the dinosaurs from this natural disaster.
For those of you worried that the Universal marketing team has revealed all the good stuff already, Jurassic World director, Colin Trevorrow, who has helped write this sequel, has revealed all footage in this first trailer is only from the first hour of the film.
