It won’t outrun a Klingon Bird of Prey at warp speed or beam you up from a hostile alien planet, but it will look cool and play games like a dream.
Beijing, China // It looks like Lenovo have been having some fun with this project. A computer built to resemble the starship Enterprise from Star Trek. Something all Trekkies/Trekkers will be clamouring for when its launched.
What has been officially titled the ‘Titanium Enterprise’ appeared at Lenovo’s Beijing Tech World Conference in China this week, and although it doesn’t faithfully replicate the look of Star Trek’s infamous U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 A, it’s close enough.
Not something you hide away under your desk then, but with an eye-watering starting price of around $2,180 you might not want to leave it too exposed either.
Packing an overclocked ninth-generation Intel CPU, a GeForce RTX 2080 GPU, 32GB of DDR4 memory, a 1TB M.2 SSD, and a 2TB HDD, the Lenovo Titanium Enterprise isn’t just pretty look at. It’s got enough power to perform as a serious gaming machine.
This odd creation comes with a few fancy features too. There’s LED lighting and a built in mini projector. No monitor required, just plug in a keyboard and mouse and boldly go… online.
Bad news for anyone not in the far East. This bad boy is only going to be available in China. For the time being anyway.
