More Or Les – Cuppa | Video

New from More or Les comes a video for ‘Cuppa’,the first single to be taken from the forthcoming new album ‘Blow the Fuck Up But Stay Humble’.

Rapper, DJ and producer, More or Les will release his latest long player later this month. The 19 track album is titled ‘Blow the Fuck Up But Stay Humble’ and features some familiar guest vocals in the form of Wordburglar, Swamp Thing and Schaffer the Darklord.

Promising to follow in a similar vein to his 2015 collaboration with Recordface ‘Post Millennium Tension’ the new album embodies golden-age sensibilities brought up to date with thought provoking lyrics. This formula is present in the the first single from the album ‘Cuppa’.

Filmed on the streets of Toronto, at the Silver Snail comic store and presumably in Les’ own home the video cleverly parodies clichéd hip-hop imagery.

‘Blow the Fuck Up But Stay Humble’ is available to pre-order via the Hand’Solo Records bandcamp page for $8 (Digital download) and $9 (Compact Disc).

About More or Les | “Inspired by rap’s pre-gangsta golden age — when good-natured hip-hoppers like Jungle Brothers and Dream Warriors strode the Earth — Les doesn’t just say “it’s about fluency with rhyming ingenuity,” he proves it.” (Toronto Globe & Mail, 2006.)
