Mega Ran – “O.P.” Featuring Richie Branson | Video

Mega Ran is pretty much the busiest rapper in Nerdcore right now with a new project popping up almost daily. Today he has a new video for the track O.P.

In case you’ve not been following, this month Mega Ran has curated a Groupees bundle, teamed up with freestyle rapping app Rhymeo and been a leading voice in the whole Alex Trebek, Jeopardy! name calling incident. All this whilst wrapping up a tour of the U.S. before heading over for multiple dates in the U.K. alongside MC Lars and MC Chris.

He’s busy then, but ‘Ran has also found time to put out a new video for the track ‘O.P.’ from this most recent album ‘RNDM‘.

The video is directed and animated by “BluChu” of IHearColors Designs and the track features Richie Branson, the same guy behind the recent Harambe Vs Capcom game that went viral in the internet. Branson hit the Nerdcore scene running back in 2012 bringing his experience as a Grammy nominated producer to the scene.

Richie Branson is currently recovering in hospital following six hours of surgery. We send him our well wishes and hope for a speedy recovery.

Mega Ran’s album RNDM is available for download now from bandcamp.

About Mega Ran | When LA Weekly said that Ran’s “fanbase and niche audiences are growing at a rate not seen since Tech N9ne,” they meant it. A former middle school teacher, Mega Ran (formerly Random) blends education, hip-hop and gaming in amazing new ways, penetrating the farthest reaches of the galaxy with his unique rhyme style and electric performances.
