They Might Be Giants – The Greatest | Video (Ft Nick Offerman)

It’s another week so there’s another video from alt-rockers They Might Be Giants. This time Nick Offerman stars in the visuals for ‘The Greatest’.

Best known for his role as Ron Swanson in NBC’s acclaimed breakout sitcom ‘Parks and Rec’, actor Nick Offerman stars in the latest video from alt-rockers They Might Be Giants.

As part of their dial-a-song initiative, which offers fans free new music each week throughout 2018, ‘The Greatest’ becomes the latest track from their recent album ‘I Like Fun’ to receive a video treatment.

With the release of ‘I Like Fun’ founder members John Flansburgh and John Linnell are experimenting with a sinister undertone that forms an interesting juxtaposition to their trademark upbeat sound. The minimalist music of ‘The Greatest’ takes on a much different feel when viewed with the video to when heard along.

A dark visual narrative and Nick Offerman’s pained expressions take viewers on a short twisted journey that’s as clever as it is eerie.

‘I Like Fun’ is available to buy now. They Might Be Giants have embarked on an extensive world tour. Click here for more information.
