Mike Pecci’s 12 Kilometers | Official Teaser Trailer

Literally born from its creators’ nightmares, Writer/Director Mike Pecci presents a breathtaking cinematic teaser for his new film 12 Kilometers.

A little over a year ago, indie filmmaker Mike Pecci was counting his blessings having suffered, and ultimately recovered from a life threatening hematoma as a result of a head injury incurred whilst ice skating. The long and painful recovery period found Pecci in a delirium that sparked the idea for his latest, and grandest, film project to date.

Explaining the formation of the idea Pecci said “Yes it was a dumb move on my part to go ice skating for the first time at 35, but the good news is that I was forced to take some time off! During the slow recovery, I was haunted by nightmares and hallucinations that inspired me to write out a new idea. Not just any idea, but THE IDEA!

Labelled as horror, the film is set in 1980s Russia, in the quest for oil, a dig team drill the deepest hole known to man. What they find is an entity that will bring them face to face with their deepest fears.

Mike Pecci now proudly presents the first official teaser for the film titled 12 Kilometers in which an incredible, cinematic fly-by of the expansive Russian landscape gives way to gritty, yet beautifully shot, close ups. Tension is built with a monotone soundscape whilst a subtitled narrator sets the scene.

12 Kilometers must be Mike Pecci‘s most ambitious project to date. The film will be touring film festivals throughout 2016 and information about screenings can be found at 12kilometers.com
