More Amazing Art From Czech Artist Hoodass

Last year I was turned on to the incredible post-apocalyptic pop-culture images created by Czech artist Hoodass. It’s worth checking back regularly.

Czech Republic // In July 2017 Hoodass, real name Filip Hodas, entered the collective consciousness of the internet thanks to coverage from popular blogs like Bored Panda. The artist’s striking renderings of iconic pop-culture imagery immersed into realistic post-apocalyptic settings are not only visually stunning, but also wholy gratifying to anyone of a nerdy disposition.

When I first covered Hoodass’ work I discovered the artist had been working his magic on subject matter covering a broad spectrum of pop-culture fandoms. From Tetris, to the Playstation, Hello Kitty to Pok√©mon and much more in between. It was a no brainer to hit the follow button on his Instagram, and whilst he may not be super prolific in his output on there, fans will be treated to a new image approximately once a month.

Since last July Hoodass has continued in a rich vein of form drawing inspiration from Rick & Morty, Mickey Mouse, Star Wars, Spongebob and, most recently, Spirited Away. Take a look.
