The gospel of Mega Ran is spreading far and wide.

Mega Ran has received some pretty sweet press lately with write-up on both the Vice blog Noisy as well as an article on The Verge which popped up yesterday. Last year Random took part in a fascinating chiptune/8-Bit documentary for BBC Radio 1 here in the UK.

Vice: Noisy

Mega Ran has also teamed up with K Murdock to produce a podcast for The Nerdy Show. In the debut episode, Ran tell the full story about how he left behind a life of teaching for a career in nerd hip hop. If you think you know the story – think again!

Vince Vandal delivers Requiem

Vince Vandal, a producer we’ve seen team up with Adam Warrock for his album You Dare Call That Thing Human!?! and most recently alongside Dr Awkward for a few singles I personally hope will lead to something more, gives a teaser of his new EP titled Friends & Fandoms.

The single Requiem features Schaffer The Darklord and Aiden Mather. The new project is likely to feature some key vocalists from the nerdcore scene scored with Vandal’s solid production.

The track is available to download for free.

Adam Warrock winds up for his fourth annual donation drive

Each year Adam Warrock runs a donation drive that assists him to continue his career as a full time musician. Don’t see it as simply handing over your cash, there are always some amazing incentives for donating to the cause including exclusive music only available to supporters of the drive as well as many personalised items too.

Considering the amount of free music Warrock knocks out on an almost weekly basis I’d say he’s damn good value for your hard earned cash.

Check adamwarrock.com for more on that and check out his latest free track now.
