Science fiction fans should be enjoying the current crop of films hitting Netflix this year. From the surprise arrival of ‘The Cloverfield Paradox’ to Duncan Jones’ sci-fi noir ‘Mute’, the streaming service is providing big budget films to the home audience. In the U.K. ‘Annihilation’ starring Natalie Portman skipped cinemas altogether and dropped straight onto our televisions.
This March 30th another tense science fiction movie will paint a dystopian picture on Netflix. Sam Worthington (Avatar) stars as Rick Janssen, a soldier chosen for a mission that could determine the fate of the human race.
With Earth’s resources dwindling the hunt for a new home on a new planet becomes of paramount importance. The mission relies on a revolutionary procedure that will accelerate humankind’s genetic evolution. If successful a small team of super humans will be sent to humanity’s potential new home, Saturn’s moon, Titan.
