Check Out The New Look Ghostbusters for 2016!

Director Paul Feig is currently shooting the all female cast version of Ghostbusters for 2016. He recently tweeted an official look at how their going to be kitted out!

Paul Feig director of the recent comedy film ‘Spy’ starring Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law and Jason Statham, is currently filming Ghostbusters for 2016. This new re-imagining/reboot will feature an all new female cast played by Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon.

The original 1984 comedy film starring Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson is regarded as a classic film.  Numerous fans are very worried about how this film is going to turn out, myself included and have made their thoughts known. Once again that stupid term of “your raping my childhood” is being bandied around once again.

Paul Feig has decided to tease us during production by releasing photos of classic Ghostbusting gear and how it looks in this new iteration.

First up, he posted this tweet revealing the new look jumpsuits which aren’t too different from the originals.

A paparazzi photo has already revealed McCarthy on set, sporting the new look jumpsuit.

Not long after, he then revealed the new look proton packs which whilst retain the shape of the originals, they do have their own design.

I’m keeping an open mind until the first teaser trailer shows up obviously! Contact us via Twitter, Facebook or use the comments box below to let us know your thoughts. The best ones will be read out in the next Betamax and Laserdisc, The Unheard Nerd’s TV and movie podcast.
