New Release | Wordburglar – If It Rhymes It’s Real

Wordburglar is back with a new three track EP ahead of the holidays. If It Rhymes It’s Real. Words to live by.

It seems hard to believe that it’s been over two years since Wordburglar’s last album, the fantastic Raplicable Skills, dropped. Good news though. Fans of the Halifax born rapper have three new songs to get their ears around.

The new EP is led by title track, ‘If It Rhymes It’s Real’, and filled out with ‘McGuffin Device’ and ‘So It Flows’. Each track embraces an upbeat, old-school sentiment.

All beats are provided by the aptly named Beatmason with cuts on track one coming from More or Les, whilst Uncle Fester is credited for the same service on track three.

About Wordburglar | A strong contender for the rapper most likely to be quoted at the water cooler, Wordburglar’s lyrically potent oeuvre runs the gamut from thoughtfully casual to ridiculously ludicrous. There’s just something about the way he puts words together that keeps people nodding their heads and smiling their mouths. With finely constructed whimsical lyrics, a sharp sense of humour and a dedication to true-school rap, ‘Burg has carved a niche for himself with audiences across Canada and beyond.
