Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales | First Look

A new teaser reveals Jack Sparrow’s new nemesis, the ghost of Captain Salazar.

The Pirates of the Caribean franchise will return for a fifth instalment after a gap of almost six years. Johnny Depp returns as the lovable rogue pirate Jack Sparrow in the latest film although this first teaser only features him on a wanted poster.

This new teaser, unlike most which show a quick cut of scenes from a forthcoming film, is just one scene which reveals the ghost of Captain Salazar played by Spanish actor, Javier Bardem.

According to Orlando Bloom, who returns to the franchise after not appearing in the fourth film, On Stranger Tides, said that film will act as a soft reboot, tying up old storylines and creating new ones to allow the franchise to continue with fresh new faces.

Finally, the film features several names depending upon where it will be released.

So in the US it will be known as:

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

If you’re in Spain, France, Italy, Brazil or Vietnam, look out for:

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Revenge of Salazar

As I live in the UK I’ll be looking out for, along with residents of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Netherlands:

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge
