By The Power Of Greyskull! He-Man Has Returned!

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe return with a brand new episode set to air at the San Diego Comic-Con.

He-Man, just the name alone brings back memories. I watched many episodes of the classic cartoon back in the eighties I and remember seeing all the muscly toy figures that lined the supermarket shelves where my parents performed the weekly grocery shopping.

He-Man was the story of Prince Adam of Eternia.¬†Whenever Prince Adam holds the Sword of Power aloft and proclaims “By the Power of Grayskull!” he is endowed with “fabulous secret powers” and transformed into He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. With these powers and help from his friends, they must defend Eternia from the evil forces of Skeletor!

I’m surprised to see that the original show spawned a whopping 130 episodes across two seasons. The huge success prompted a female orientated spin-off entitled, She-Ra: Princess of Power.

They even tried to revitalise the series with further cartoons across the years but these have never quite worked out and only ran for a single season. Who can forget the live-action film starring Dolph Lundgren as He-Man! Well, some of us tried to forget it!

Now He-Man is set to return in a brand new episode created by the guys from Super7. Whilst this new episode will be available to download from August 1st, it will have its premier at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

You can watch a very brief tease of “The Curse of the Three Terrors” in the video clip below.
