A Quiet Launch For Sci-Fi Film, Ambition

Game of Thrones ‘Little Finger’ stars in the barely publicised film, Ambition.

With little obvious marketing for the project, the sci-fi film Ambition starring Aiden Gillen (Game Of Thrones, The Wire, The Dark Knight Rises) is beginning to gain some traction on blogs and media websites with less than a week to go before its unveiling as part of the British Film Institute’s sci-fi season. There is no IMDB entry for the film and no big budget billboard and TV campaign to boost sales as of yet. Curious.

The official website gives little away either with a photo gallery, a link to the teaser trailer and an intriguing locked section. Perhaps the hyperbol will ramp up if the film is well received. Take a peek, it certainly looks interesting.

Tomek Bagiński’s latest project – tells of a young apprentice (Aisling Franciosi) struggling to master nanotechnology on an alien world and prove herself to her enigmatic master (Aidan Gillen). Will her herculean goals remain tantalisingly out of reach, or will she fulfil them and in the process, change life as we know it?
