Retro Remix (TekForce & Siren) – Out Of Reach | Labyrinth Tribute

As part of a new project rapper TekForce and vocalist Siren team up for a tribute to the classic movie Labyrinth.

Texas | In the first of what looks likely to be an ongoing project the Texas pair of TekForce and Siren have teamed up to pay tribute to the 1986 classic film Labyrinth.

Starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie Labyrinth was a collaborative effort between Jim Henson (creator of The Muppets) and Lucasfilm.

Blending live-action and puppetry the plot follows the endeavours of Sarah (Connelly) – a sixteen year old girl – given thirteen hours to solve a labyrinth and save her baby brother after her wish for him to be taken away was granted by the Goblin King (Bowie).

The original soundtrack for the film was written and performed by David Bowie. TekForce and Siren sample parts of the score to form part of the backing track to this rap/vocal tribute to the film.

About TekForce | Tekforce, started out with a real love for hip hop from the time he entered this world. He had the benefit of having a big brother that played everything from Slick Rick to LL Cool J. This helped build a bond that would last his entire life. The one the group that planted the hip hop bug in him was: A Tribe Called Quest. When he heard their seminal album Midnight Marauders, it changed his world forever.

About Siren | Lyricist and singer in DFW, geek, painter, and lover of all things art.
