RPG-Unit | Press Start | Video

RPG-Unit enter phase two with a video for new track Press Start and introduce the newest member to the collective.

Blending genres by combining elements of EDM/Dubstep and rap RPG-Unit set themselves up as one to watch with their 2014 album Rock Paper Genocide. Back with a taster of what one presumes to be the start of a second album, producer DJ RoboRob provides a complex beat for their latest track Press Start with vocals coming from Starf, King Pheenix, Starby and the newest member of the collective Alpha Riff.

The video for the track pulls off a basic concept adequately with members of the collective seemingly having filmed their performance to camera (possibly iPhone) independently with the sections being edited together later. It works well enough.

Press Start is available to download now as a ‘name your price’ release via bandcamp and don’t forget you can find an exclusive DJ Roborob mix at nerdcorerecords.com.

About RPG-Unit – RPG-Unit is Alpha Riff, Starby, King Pheenix, StarF, and DJ RoboRob. Each masters of their own craft, they all bring something super special to the table. Alpha Riffs punching lyrics, Starby’s sassyness, King Pheenix’s raw power, and StarF’s witty lyricism smother over the powerful beats brought forth by the talented DJ RoboRob.
