Scrat Is Back In A Cosmic Scrat-tastrophe | Animated Short

The lovable and clumsy Scrat from the Ice Age movies is back in a cosmic adventure.

Scrat is the acorn loving, luckless sabre tooth squirrel that features in each of the Ice Age movies. This animated short is showing ahead of The Peanuts movie in cinemas this month and finds Scrat going where no character from the Ice Age films has gone before, outer space.

Acting as something of a promotional tool for the next installment of the series, Ice Age: Collision Course, we find the hapless squirrel inadvertently playing havoc with the solar system and setting place possible catastrophe for the inhabitants of the planet Earth.

Ice Age: Collision Course is in cinemas from July 2016.

Scrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colorful new characters.
