DC and Warner Bros unveiled a gritty, action filled trailer for ‘Titans’, a new series aimed at a mature audience.

SDCC2018 | Serving up a gritty re-imagining of their popular Teen Titans title, DC and Warner Bros. revealed their new hard hitting television series ‘Titans’ at San Diego Comic-Con.

Starring Brenton Thwaites and from producer Greg Berlanti comes the new show which introduces Robin, Star-Fire and Beast Boy. , Berlanti’s resume already boasts popular DC properties ‘Arrow’, ‘The Flash’ and ‘Supergirl’,

Unlike Berlanti’s previous family-friendly programming, ‘Titans’ is aiming for a more mature audience with the trailer showcasing action, violence and bloodshed.

Perhaps the biggest impact comes from a blood spattered Robin. Having taken out an alley of bad guys his response to the question “Where’s Batman?” is strong. “Fuck Batman”.

‘Titans’ will be available on DC’s forthcoming on-demand subscription service titled DC Universe. The platform aims to gather everything the company has to offer onto one digital platform.

Classic television and animation. Films based on DC characters as well as digital versions of classic and new comics plus much more for a single monthly subscription.

‘Titans’ will bludgeon it’s way onto screens of all sizes from this Autumn.
