Seven Magnificent Cowboys Ride Into London

Seven Mysterious cowboys have been spotted around central London’s Wild West End. Apparently they’re in town for the release of the new film The Magnificent Seven.

Commuters were faced with an unusual sight in London this week as seven authentically dressed cowboys made their way around town on horseback.

A brief rest for their trusty steeds at a Boris Bike station is unusual enough, but when the posse appeared at Leicester Square tube station onlookers must have wondered how you could fit seven horses on a train when most of us can barely get in?! Rest assured the horses were not forced to endure such indignity. That pleasure is reserved purely for residents and visitors of the capital who travel by foot.

Finally the seven cowboys made their way to the Leicester Square Cineworld to queue up ready for the first showing of The Magnificent Seven.

This new vision of the classic film hits the big screens today and stars Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke and Chris Pratt. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, famous for ‘Training Day’ and ‘The Equaliser’ once again brings Hawke and Washington on-board to star in an action packed modern western.

About The Magnificent Seven | Director Antoine Fuqua brings his modern vision to a classic story in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Columbia Pictures’ The Magnificent Seven. With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople, led by Emma Cullen (Haley Bennett), employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns – Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Faraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.
