Stallone Breaks Out Of Another Prison in Escape Plan 2: Hades

Sylvester Stallone must escape from a maximum security prison in order to rescue a fellow colleague.

The original Escape Plan, released in 2013, was an underrated action film that I found to be very enjoyable.

Starring Sylvester Stallone as Ray Breslin, the owner of a security firm that tests the reliability of maximum security prisons. He’s contacted by the CIA to test a new prison where criminals are sent to disappear. He reluctantly agrees to the test despite not being allowed to know it’s location which makes him a little nervous about the job.

Escape Plan was the first film to team up both Sylvester Stallone and his 1980’s action film rival, Arnold Schwarzenegger as co-leads. The rest of the cast was also quite impressive with names such as Jim Caviezel, Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent), Sam Neill, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio and Amy Ryan.

In this straight to DVD/Blu-ray sequel (Non US territories are receiving a theatrical release), Escape Plan 2: Hades, Ray must once again allow himself to be captured in order to rescue a teammate from one of the worlds most secure prisons.

Stallone will be joined once again by Curtis Jackson and newcomer to the team Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy, Blade Runner 2049).

Title: Escape Plan 2: Hades
