Star Wars: Take Rey’s Speeder For A Spin Across Jakku

Star Wars: Take Rey’s Speeder For A Spin Across Jakku

We’ve all seen the impressive imagery of the crashed Imperial Star Destroyer from the second Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer. Now you can take a ride along side it in Rey’s speeder!

The first imagery from the second ‘The Force Awakens’ teaser trailer was the iconic shot of an Imperial Star Destroyer which had crashed into the planet’s surface.  As part of that shot you could make out a small speeder craft zipping along the sand dunes alongside the immense space vehicle. Many speculate this is the speeder that belongs to the character Rey as played by Daisy Ridley in the upcoming film.

Here is a picture of Rey and the speeder vehicle in question.

In a new video which appeared on the Official Star Wars Facebook Page and was created by Industrial Light & Magic’s X Lab division, you can ride that speeder past the Star Destroyer, whilst using your mouse (or finger, depending on the device) to look around your environment in a full 360 degrees.

It’s only a minute long but I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve played with it already!
