Jennifer Lawrence returns in the concluding installment of The Hunger Games epic series.
If truth be told, I was a latecomer to The Hunger Games films. My wife has read the books, seen each of the films in the series this far at the cinema whilst I dismissed them as teen drama with romantic undertones. Then I was too lazy to move when the first was shown on television recently and within a quarter of an hour I was on-board and ploughed through the rest in the space of a week.
Set in a post apocalyptic world where colonies are kept poor whilst the capital thrives, one unlikely hero in a moment of bravery and selflessness sets in motion the beginnings of a revolution. Each film is tinged with tension, brutality and a rallies viewers to support the underdogs. Expect the conclusion to this epic series to pack a real punch.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is in cinemas from November.
