These Ladies Have Been Bustin’! First Official Image

The Ghostbusters are returning in a new reboot that sees an all female team bust some heads… in a spiritual sense, of course.

Director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Spy) has the unenviable task of rebooting the classic 1984 film Ghostbusters for a modern audience.

We here at The Unheard Nerd have been following this story through production because like most people, it’s one of our favorite childhood films. We’ve previously posted stories on reveals of the new version of ECTO-1, the Proton Packs and the style jump suits as well.

Sony has unveiled the first official promo image of the Ghostbusting ladies as well as set of four new posters which I must admit are really rather fetching. You can see all of them below.

The new reboot of Ghostbusters stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones and will be released in July of 2016. Hopefully the first trailer will surface soon.
