Tribe One | Different | Video

Way back in 2011 Tribe One and Adam Warrock teamed up to produce the Paper Cutters & Dangling Headphones EP. One track on that release continues to strike a chord.

To hear the story behind the Paper Cutters & Dangling Headphones EP check out my interview podcast with Adam Warrock (Embedded below) in which Adam describes the way in which Tribe One pulled some serious magic out of the bag for one track in particular, Different. Since the first time I heard the EP to right here and now the 2011 release remains a firm favourite with me thanks in no small part to the message conveyed in songs like Different.

Four years later and the message is still as strong as ever as demonstrated by Russ Wood who has released a video produced by him and some of his students. The poignant visual perfectly reflects the tone and message in the song. Check it out now, download Paper Cutters & Dangling Headphones then listen to my interview with Adam Warrock for a fuller telling of the story behind the release.
