UKFilmNerd’s Shorts | Aliens: LV-426

Here at The Unheard Nerd we welcome all kinds of media and will gladly share our findings from the net with you the reader. As your probably already aware, I love film and in a semi regular feature I will share with you some of the excellent short films hiding away on the internet.

Recently I posted a news article about a new Aliens fan film that will show what could of happened to the character Newt had the events of ‘Alien 3’ and ‘Alien Resurrection’ never occurred.

Via research on that piece another fan film came to my attention, ‘Aliens: LV-426’. This short film also portrays a possible future for Newt and as the description reads (Google translation),

“Newt returns to LV- 426, where the remains of the former colony still burn. Synthetic Bishop will help the girl to reconnect with their past, and memories buried in the ruins of LV- 426 will come back to burn.”

LV-426 was shot on a very small budget by Márcio Napoli and his friends. They’ve done an amazing job and its well worth five minutes of your time.
