UKFilmNerd’s Shorts | Double Feature By ArtFX

Here at The Unheard Nerd we welcome all kinds of media and will gladly share our findings from the net with you the reader. As your probably already aware, I love film and in a semi regular feature I will share with you some of the excellent short films hiding away on the internet.

ArtFX is a university of France that specialises in teaching various special effects techniques, primarily using computer graphic imagery. What I have for you today are two great short films that were produced by students as part of their studies.

Runaway

Ernest runs a gas station lost in the middle of a desert. Suddenly His nap is interrupted by the arrival of a massive customer. This short film feels like a tease and I wish we could see more.

Thousandth Street

The break of a police officer on patrol is suddenly interrupted by an unexpected event which he
will have to face… Obviously inspired by BladeRunner this short film is visually brilliant.

Let me know of any cool films you come across on your travels. Drop us a tweet @UKFilmNerd.
