Uncanny An Edgy Sci-Fi A.I. Thriller? | Trailer

Following in the same vein as Ex_Machina, Uncanny looks to be an edgy Sci-Fi thriller.

Delving into the pitfalls of creating A.I. Uncanny shares a similar theme to the fantastic Ex_Machina as the boundaries of love between human and artificial intelligence take a sinister tone. When the world’s most perfect A.I. is created it’s only a matter of time before it falls in love, but to what lengths will it go to ensure it’s emotions are reciprocated when its biggest rival is its creator?

The trailer seems to give away the premise of Uncanny whilst promising enough twists and turns to keep viewers entertained. The films comes from U.S. director Matthew Leutwyler and features a small cast led by Mark Webber, Lucy Griffiths and David Clayton Rogers. No release date is confirmed at this time but the Uncanny has been circulating around certain film festivals this year.

The world’s first “perfect” Artificial Intelligence (AI) begins to exhibit startling and unnerving emergent behavior when a reporter begins a relationship with the scientist who created it.
