Weerd Science | Your Shovel | Video

Your Shovel is a heartfelt track from Weerd Science’s third instalment of the Red Light Juliet trilogy.

Debuted on AltPress, the new single from Weerd Science is called Your Shovel and has a poignant video to accompany a heartfelt track. The story behind the song takes place at a time when the rapper (Josh Eppard, drummer for Coheed & Cambria aka Weerd Science) was recovering from drug addiction. A friend, who was raising her child alone following the death of her partner, reached out to help. Eppard felt unable to accept the offer at the time but wanted to pay tribute to this strong woman.

Your Shovel is a track found on Red Light Juliet Broadcast 3: The Seer, the final instalment in Weerd Science‘s Red Light Juliet ‘Illogy which can be found on bandcamp along with the previous two parts.

About Weerd Science – Weerd Science is Josh Eppard. He’s a ferocious musician; the best live drummer I’ve ever seen. He can stand up next to any rapper, on any stage, in any situation. He can sing like a motherfucker. He once wore the same pair of shorts for 53 straight days. – Mike Russo
