Wonder Woman – It Begins With Her…

Wonder Woman – It Begins With Her…

An Amazonian warrior princess will fight alongside man and discover not only her powers but also her destiny.

Warner Bros. reveal the first official trailer since the San Diego Comic-Con for the next film in their current DC universe saga, this is Wonder Woman.

When a WWI pilot (Chris Pine) crashes into the secluded island paradise and reveals the huge conflict currently raging on outside their world, Diana (Gal Gadot) believes she can help and stop the bloodshed.

Warner Bos. have managed to successfully bring the first female superhero to the big screen in their own solo film (Marvel is still working on Captain Marvel). However, the DC universe, consisting so far of Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, hasn’t exactly been a massive success.

Will this be the film to finally break that spell?

Title: Wonder Woman

Release | US: 2nd June ’17 | UK: 2nd June ’17 | World: IMDb

“Wonder Woman” hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins (“Monster,” AMC’s “The Killing”). Joining Gadot in the international cast are Chris Pine (the “Star Trek” films), Connie Nielsen (Fox’s “The Following,” “Gladiator”), Robin Wright (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” Netflix’s “House of Cards”), David Thewlis (the “Harry Potter” films, “The Theory of Everything”), Danny Huston (“Clash of the Titans,” “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”), Elena Anaya (“The Skin I Live In”), Ewen Bremner (“Exodus: Gods and Kings,” “Snowpiercer”), and Saïd Taghmaoui (“American Hustle”).
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior.   Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
